- There is a good train connection between Madrid (“Puerta de Atocha-Almudena Grandes” railway station) and Cádiz (“Plaza de Sevilla” railway station). About 12 daily trains communicate the two towns in both directions. Among these trains, ALVIA trains are strongly recommended because they travel from Madrid to Cádiz without train transfer in Sevilla. Most of the trains take about four hours and a half between the two towns.
